Administration for the Standard fire situation

The majority of Conservancy burns are conducted under the Standard situation, that is, when Conservancy Representatives burn on Conservancy land. A common example is a Conservancy employee serving as burn boss with a crew of staff and volunteers. Conservancy lands include fee ownership and those under management agreement, i.e. long-term lease or easements.

A standard situation also exists when Conservancy Representatives participate on the suppression of a wildfire on Conservancy land. In all of these situations, the standard requirements, guidelines and procedures outlined in this Manual apply.
